Summary: The Software Engineer role at Sky focuses on leveraging SQL, SSIS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise to enhance the AdTech team's database management and ETL processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimise SQL databases for high performance and scalability.
- Develop and maintain SSIS packages for efficient ETL processes.
- Ensure new ETL processes are designed with a cloud-first mindset.
- Implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Key Skills:
- Solid experience in backend development with a focus on SQL, SSIS, and GCP.
- Expertise in SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, query optimisation).
- Strong hands-on experience with SSIS, including package development and automation.
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like BigQuery and Cloud SQL.
- Experience in designing and optimising ETL workflows.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and version control tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
