Details about this role

Ruby on Rails Engineer (upper mid level/ entry senior level).

Up to £80k & 3 days per week in the office - Shoreditch.

You will join a small product focussed B2C company who are using tech to elevate & simplify the travel/holiday booking experience.

AI is used to boost productivity without being overly relied upon.

They're sure to review AI produced code carefully before pushing to prod and are looking for someone with a similar approach to join.

You'll work closely with other Engineers, the Head of Engineering, and the CTO to build new features for the customer and also for the internal team.

Whilst there is no guarantee the role will convert into a full time permanent position there's always a chance for extension at the end of the term.

Why should you consider a fixed term contract?

A great opportunity to explore or try out a new domain and product without the expectation of a long-term commitment & without your CV looking 'jumpy'.

Planning to travel or take a career break in 2027? This role will fill the gap until then!

You still get all the usual benefits (holiday, pension, etc).

FTCs generally involve less engagement with wider company politics and avoid 'responsibility creep', so you can just get your head down and make an impact.

There is always a chance for this to convert into a full time permanent role at the end of the term!
