Key Responsibilities:
- Support the ongoing Front Desk Project powered by AI.
- Write high-quality code in Python and Typescript.
- Work with Fast API and Agent Frameworks.
- Develop web-based applications and maintain systems and code from other teams.
- Participate in Agile projects and build out CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy applications on-premises or to the cloud.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and management.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in Python (80% role focus).
- Strong experience in Typescript (20% role focus).
- Experience with Fast API and Agent Frameworks.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Experience in developing web-based applications.

Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join the existing team to support an ongoing Front Desk Project that is powered by AI. The project is working on a reception desk that uses webform to gather information then AI responds to that request.
This role is based in Edinburgh OR London.
This role will be Via Umbrella.
Working in a Hybrid Model of 1 day a week on site.
Initial 3-Month Contract with Potential for Extension.
Key Skills and Experience
- Strong experience writing high-quality code in Python (80% role focus)
- Strong Experience writing high-quality code in Typescript (20% role focus)
- Experienced in working with Fast API.
- Experienced with Agent Frameworks.

- Relevant experience from an industry in developing web based applications
- The ability to rapidly and effectively understand and be able to support, modify and maintain systems and code developed by other engineering teams

- You'll be a very capable communicator with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to your peers and management level colleagues, with good collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
