Summary: This role is for a C#/.NET Software Engineer tasked with modernizing a major automotive finance company's digital ecosystem. The position involves transforming a legacy application landscape into a cloud-native finance platform using C# .NET Core, React, and AWS/Azure. The engineer will work within an Agile Scrum team, contributing to the full product lifecycle and implementing modern DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a core member of an Agile Scrum team, contributing to the full product lifecycle from architecture and design to delivery.
  • Build and scale greenfield and brownfield microservices using C# .NET Core and Web APIs.
  • Develop slick, responsive front-end components using React and TypeScript to enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate on the transition to a modern cloud architecture, deploying containerized applications via Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Implement robust CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices to ensure seamless, automated software delivery.

Key Skills:

  • Deep expertise in C# .NET Core and developing high-performance Web APIs in a commercial environment.
  • Strong front-end skills with React and TypeScript, with a clean-code approach to UI development.
  • Proven experience with Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles including SOLID, TDD, and RESTful architecture.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment using Git for version control and SQL/NoSQL databases.
