Summary: Our client, a major international bank, seeks a Software Engineer for a 12-month contract within its Global Storage function. The role involves hands-on data engineering, application development, and infrastructure work, focusing on creating a standardized platform for archiving and searching data. • Own the full life cycle of the pipelines you build: coding, testing, documentation and ongoing support
  • Contribute to the underlying infrastructure needed for efficient extraction, transformation and loading from a range of source systems
  • Turn pipeline output into business insight, including reporting built in Power BI, and work closely with business, product, data and design stakeholders

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience building and tuning large-scale data pipelines, architectures and datasets, across both structured and unstructured sources
  • Strong hands-on Scripting experience in Python or PowerShell across both Windows and Linux
  • Experience in application development with: C#, JavaScript or .NET
