Kotlin Software Engineer

An exciting eCommerce company is looking for an experienced Backend Kotlin Developer to join their team on a contract basis.

What you’ll need:

  • Strong commercial experience with Kotlin
  • Backend development expertise building scalable APIs & microservices http4k
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems & performance optimisation
  • TDD, CI/CD

Tech stack & ways of working:

  • Kotlin, http4k, Handlebars
  • Integrations with Salesforce and internal authentication/entitlement services
  • Pragmatic engineering culture with pairing, TDD, trunk-based development, and CI/CD cloud deployments
  • Responsible use of AI-assisted development tools (OpenCode / GitHub Copilot)

Start: June 2026

Contract: Up to £600p/d outside IR35

Location: 2 days a week in London
