- Contribution to quality assurance by writing unit and automated tests.
- Design and code reviews.
- Sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups in a true Agile environment.

- DevSecOps awareness using tools such as Tekton, ArgoCD, SonarQube - Desirable.
- Red Hat OpenShift container platform or Kubernetes – Desirable.

Certain Advantage is hiring for a Software Engineer based in the Guildford or Newcastle area.
This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based.

We’re working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and a separate Space and Defence division.

You’ll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
- High-quality, readable, scalable and easily maintained code, using Java.
- Contribution to quality assurance by writing unit and automated tests.
- Design and code reviews
- Sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups in a true Agile environment
