Summary: The role of Contract Developer focuses on supporting the Pensions Dashboard project with a strong emphasis on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security. The position requires a skilled Developer/Engineer with experience in Java, Groovy, and AWS, as well as familiarity with Kubernetes and IAM concepts. The role is hybrid, requiring one day onsite per week in Edinburgh. The contract duration is initially set for six months and falls under inside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the Pensions Dashboard project.
- Utilize Java, Groovy, and AWS in development tasks.
- Work with Kubernetes in a production environment.
- Implement IAM concepts and practices.
- Utilize tools and protocols such as OAuth and Amazon Cognito / AWS IAM Identity Center.
- Adapt to and learn ForgeRock technologies as needed.
Key Skills:
- Proven development experience with Java and Groovy.
- Experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of IAM concepts and practices.
- Familiarity with OAuth and Amazon Cognito / AWS IAM Identity Center.
- Experience in the financial sector is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn ForgeRock technologies.
