Summary: The Software Engineer role at the Generative AI Hub involves working within a dynamic team to develop and deploy innovative AI applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy custom GenAI applications using modern cloud technologies, including AWS, Python, and CI/CD.
- Own API development, database design, and infrastructure deployment via Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with data science teams to integrate AI models and APIs, including AWS Bedrock, LangGraph, Azure GPT, and similar tools.
- Occasionally support lightweight front-end work using React or Python.
- Work in agile sprints, joining daily stand-ups and planning sessions.

A large UK organisation is building out its Generative AI Innovation Hub, a fast-paced, cross-functional team delivering short GenAI proof-of-concept projects that turn creative ideas into working prototypes.
We are looking for a Software Engineer who can work across the full stack and bring ideas to life alongside Product Managers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Scientists. You will be part of a small, agile team delivering 4-6 week AI projects that explore the next generation of intelligent applications.
What you’ll be doing
