Key Responsibilities:
- Build high-performance, scalable software components using modern engineering practices and contribute to complex technical problem solving.
- Support the design and implementation of distributed, service-oriented architectures using Java or Kotlin, ensuring reliability and maintainability.
- Create intuitive and responsive user interfaces using React, improving how salespeople access insights and manage client workflows.
- Contribute to the development of data-driven application features that enhance sales workflows and client interaction.
- Integrate with existing systems and contribute to the development of a cohesive sales technology platform aligned with strategic direction.
- Work closely with sales, product, data, and engineering teams to gather requirements, shape solutions, and ensure successful delivery.
Key Skills:
- Strong engineering background (Back End primarily) delivering complex software in fast-paced environments, with a solid grounding in Object-Oriented and/or Functional programming, and proven use of XP/agile practices including TDD, acceptance testing, pair programming and continuous integration.
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, and familiarity with building modern web applications using Typescript and React.
- Experience applying iterative development to deliver high-value outcomes in complex domains.
- Exposure to data-driven or analytical systems; experience with AI/ML-related features is beneficial but not required.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, observability, and operating production systems.
- Experience in or understanding of Front Office or revenue-generating technology in an investment bank (desirable).
