Key Responsibilities:
- Architect scalable, resilient, and secure Back End solutions and oversee the technical completion of critical development tasks.
- Ensure Back End code and architectural reviews align with organisational goals and facilitate productive technical discussions.
- Support the technical direction for Back End development, offering guidance to team members.
- Collaborate with Front End, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
- Lead efforts to implement process improvements within Back End development workflows.
- Create and review technical designs for complex Back End systems that meet business goals and technical feasibility.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, balancing their needs with technical constraints.
Key Skills:
- Extensive multi-year engineering experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust Back End systems.
- Expertise in version control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Cloudbuild).
- Proficiency with cloud platforms, particularly GCP, including experience with infrastructure as code.
- Demonstrated leadership in architectural practices for scalable and secure Back End solutions.
- Strong commitment to team collaboration and driving successful outcomes.
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
