Summary: The Software & DevOps Engineer will join the Data Engineering & Analytics Team, playing a pivotal role in the organization's digital transformation. This position involves developing web-based applications, designing APIs, and managing cloud infrastructure while implementing modern DevOps practices. The engineer will work closely with leadership to enhance digital services and support data-driven decision-making within the healthcare sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape software delivery and integrate AI solutions to improve operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications and interfaces using Python and modern web frameworks.
- Develop and maintain RESTful / GraphQL APIs and system integrations for seamless data exchange.
- Work on SaaS development projects to customize and optimize cloud-based services.
- Integrate AI and machine learning solutions to support clinical and operational decision-making.
- Deploy and manage applications on the Azure cloud platform.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment processes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot application issues.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Analysts to create tools for data processing and analytics workflows.
Key Skills:
- Experience developing web applications, APIs, and integrations.
- Strong Python skills, preferably with Django or Flask.
- Experience with modern web frameworks (React, Vue.js, or similar).
- API development and integration experience (RESTful APIs, GraphQL, FHIR/HL7).
- Cloud platform experience, preferably Azure.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of API design, system integration, and database management (SQL).
- Awareness of security best practices and data governance.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
