Summary: The role of Software Development Engineer in Test focuses on overseeing the testing program within the Property & Casualty Insurance sector, requiring a blend of architectural expertise and managerial skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the end-to-end testing strategy across multiple workstreams
- Act as the primary point of contact for testing-related discussions with business, development, and vendor teams
- Evaluate risk-based testing approaches
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks and issues proactively
- Provide regular status updates to senior leadership
- Prior experience in P&C insurance transformation or modernization programs
- Experience with test management tools like ALM, Jira, or qTest
