Summary: Our client seeks a Senior SDET with extensive Java coding experience to join their Tech team. The role involves building automation platforms and frameworks, with a hybrid working arrangement in London. Candidates must have active SC clearance and be prepared for security vetting. This position is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation platforms and frameworks.
- Perform unit testing using Junit.
- Conduct API testing with coded frameworks and Postman.
- Utilize Gitlab and Git for version control.
- Implement CI/CD processes using Jenkins.
- Apply TDD/BDD methodologies with Cucumber.
- Collaborate using Jira and Confluence.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience as an SDET.
- Strong knowledge of OOP and SOLID principles.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like Junit.
- API testing experience with coded frameworks and Postman.
- Proficiency in Gitlab and Git.
- Familiarity with SonarQube.
- Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD.
- Knowledge of Cucumber for TDD/BDD.
- Wiremock experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Jira and Confluence.

This role would be working onsite a couple days a week in London and rest remotely. This role is Inside IR35 and requires an active SC clearance.
