Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and improve modern software solutions.
- Develop high-quality, secure, and scalable applications in an Agile environment.
- Engage in the full development life cycle, writing clean code and supporting production systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Take ownership of the services developed following a "you build it, you run it" approach.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in software development and engineering best practices.
- Knowledge of Java or Scala-based development.
- Experience working within microservices architectures and API-driven environments.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development.
- Strong understanding of systems integration and service support.
- Exposure to containerisation (Kubernetes/ECS) is desirable.
- Experience with modern Front End technologies such as React or Node.js is desirable.
- Experience working within public sector or regulated environments is desirable.

You will work across the full development life cycle, writing clean code, supporting production systems, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role follows a "you build it, you run it" approach, giving you ownership of the services you develop.
This is a hybrid role with on-site collaboration expected, particularly during the early stages of the project.
