Summary: The role of Software Engineer involves working with a public sector organization in Dalkeith/Glasgow on a priority project within the Business Systems area. This is an initial 6-month contract position that allows for remote work with occasional travel to the Glasgow or Dalkeith office. The position requires a strong background in full-stack Microsoft development and experience with various technologies and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the existing team to supplement the delivery of a priority project within the Business Systems area.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years in all required disciplines.
- Qualified to minimum degree level in associated discipline.
- Well versed in Iterative (Scrum) delivery methodologies.
- Full Stack Microsoft Developer with solid Microsoft .NET (Core 2.2 to 8 inclusive and Framework 4.8), C# (v9 through 13), ASP.NET MVC, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Azure AD B2C, SQL, Azure Dev Ops, GIT, .NET, MVC 5 development, Blazor, React, and Angular.
- Experience with REST APIs and API integration to interact with Azure AD B2C services, unit, and integration testing.
- Experience with cloud-based development environments and deployment pipelines.
- Troubleshooting and debugging capabilities for resolving issues related to Azure AD B2C integration.
- Front End/Web API Back End experience.
