Summary: The Software Developer - Full Stack (C++ & Angular) role involves driving the development and maintenance of self-service check-in technologies for kiosk and web platforms. The position requires expertise in C++ and Angular, focusing on both backend and frontend development. The role is hybrid, requiring two to three days onsite per week, and is classified as inside IR35. The contract duration is 12 months, offering a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize backend components in C++ 11+, focusing on performance and scalability.
- Build responsive front-end interfaces using AngularJS/Angular 2+.
- Maintain and refactor existing codebases to enhance reliability and reduce technical debt.
- Collaborate across functions (Product Owners, QA, DevOps, etc.) to deliver seamless product features.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure secure, clean coding practices.
- Investigate and resolve production issues efficiently.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years in professional software development.
- Expert in C++11 or later, with a strong grasp of memory management, OOP, and concurrency.
- Skilled in AngularJS, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and version control (Git).
- Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Kanban, Scrum).
