Software Dev Engineer III

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client that is seeking a Software Dev Engineer III in Seattle, WA.

Key Tasks:
* Software Dev Engineer III will design, develop, implement, test, document and deploy full-stack, cloud-native software applications, tools, systems and services using multi-threaded programming, development in Python and React/node.js, implementing architecture patterns and design patterns, and utilizing generative AI large language models
* Assist in gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements, and translate requirements into technical specifications for robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture
* Collaborate with different teams and implement best practices architecture and design patterns
* As a Software Dev Engineer III, you will produce comprehensive, usable software documentation
* Infrastructure design and Solution Architecting

REQUIREMENTS:
* MS or BS in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, plus five years of experience in the job offered or related occupations of Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related
* 5+ years with Gen AI LLM Software Dev
* 5+ years of utilizing generative AI
* 5+ years with infrastructure design and Solution Architecting
* 5+ years with Bedrock
* Experience with full stack application deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and agentic architectures
* Experience collaborating with other developers using git repositories, including creating and managing feature branches, pull requests, code merge, and GitHub actions or equivalent
* Experience in deploying and utilizing Company Bedrock applications, AI agents, and other LLM-based solutions
* Coding proficiency in Python, and front-end development experience with JavaScript/React
* Proficiency development with services such as Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, AppSync, Bedrock, SageMaker, and CloudWatch
* Proficiency in developing and integrating with REST-based APIs
* Proficiency in developing infrastructure-as-code deployment solutions such as CloudFormation or CDK
* Stellar communication in English
* Company AI is nice to have

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
