  • Ensure safe, timely, and compliant patient movement, specimen transport, waste management, and grounds upkeep.
  • Maintain high-quality service standards, workflow efficiency, and resource deployment.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to plan for high-demand periods and operational pressures.
  • Lead, develop, and engage teams while ensuring HR compliance and workforce planning.
  • Monitor KPIs, SLAs, audits, and compliance with statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
  • Manage budgets, labour, equipment, stock, and procurement for cost-effective operations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and contribute to performance reporting and service improvements.

Key Skills:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) with experience in a similar operational management role.
  • Experience managing multi-site logistics, portering, or facilities services.
  • Strong commercial awareness, contract knowledge, and KPI management experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Results-driven, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or ability to obtain).
