Qualified Social Worker – Children’s Services Lincolnshire County Council Holmeleigh, Foundry Street, Horncastle, Lincolnshire, LN96AQ Lincolnshire County Council is currently recruiting an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join a fast-paced safeguarding team.

Pay rates: £22.20 per hour (PAYE, exclusive of holiday pay) £29.98 per hour (PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay)

The Role You will be responsible for undertaking statutory duties where safeguarding concerns have been identified. This includes completing Child and Family Assessments , working directly with children and their families, and collaborating closely with partner agencies to ensure children are supported and kept safe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing Child and Family Assessments
  • Managing cases within Children in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) frameworks
  • Undertaking safeguarding enquiries and direct work with families
  • Working in partnership with multi-agency professionals
  • Managing private and public law proceedings where required

Working Arrangements The team operates on a three-weekly duty system : 1 week on duty (new case allocations – office based) 2 weeks off duty
