Key Responsibilities:
- Support assessments, care planning, and direct work with children and their families.
- Hold a small protected caseload, responding to needs, risks, and urgent situations.
- Complete clear written assessments, reports, safety plans, and referrals.
- Assist social workers on visits, Section 47 enquiries, and multi-agency meetings.
- Supervise family contact and transport children/families to appointments when required.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and provide essential admin and duty rota support.
Key Skills:
- Experience working with children, families, or vulnerable people.
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain accurate written records.
- Ability to manage sensitive situations and assess risk.
- Understanding of safeguarding and willingness to follow statutory guidance.
