Summary: A B Corp-certified fashion brand is seeking a Freelance Social Media Manager to develop and execute its in-house social media strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury fashion and editorial storytelling, focusing on engagement and brand positioning across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. This role requires a confident leader who can manage external creatives and deliver high-quality content while ensuring alignment with the brand's vision. The position emphasizes meaningful engagement over follower count, aiming to enhance long-term brand equity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, with a focus on engagement, storytelling and brand positioning.
- Shape and oversee social narratives around cultural moments, launches and seasonal campaigns, ensuring a luxury, editorial-led approach.
- Brief, commission and manage external creatives, photographers and videographers to deliver premium, social-first content (no low-fi iPhone content).
- Manage the social content calendar, posting cadence and day-to-day community engagement.
- Monitor performance, sentiment and engagement, delivering monthly reports with clear insights and strategic recommendations.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure content aligns with brand vision, tone and wider business objectives.
- Confidently lead social activity end-to-end, acting as the brand's social authority rather than operating within a large delegated team.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in social media management within luxury fashion, lifestyle or editorial-led brands.
- Proven ability to develop and execute social strategy focused on engagement and brand storytelling rather than follower growth alone.

Having previously partnered with agencies, the brand is now looking for a confident, senior social lead who can own the channel strategy, elevate engagement, and ensure a consistently premium, luxury brand experience across platforms. This role is ideal for someone with an editorial mindset and a deep understanding of high-end fashion storytelling. You will focus on social strategy, community engagement and creative direction , while working with a trusted network of external creatives to deliver polished, high-quality content. The brand is not driven by follower count alone, but by meaningful engagement, cultural relevance and long-term brand equity.
