Summary: The Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager role is a freelance position requiring 10–12 hours per week, focused on enhancing the company's digital presence through social media, web, and CRM/email marketing. The candidate will manage social media content, track performance metrics, and gradually take on website and email marketing responsibilities. This part-time role emphasizes consistent delivery and creative initiative, with an initial focus on social media execution. The position is based in the UK/EU time zone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategize, curate, schedule, and post content across social media channels (Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok)
- Manage a social posting calendar reflecting live events, milestones, and relevant cultural/industry moments
- Maintain and deliver monthly content proposals based on global culture and calendar moments
- Achieve consistent posting cadence (min. 3 feed posts per 2 weeks + 2 story sets per week)
- Highlight milestones, support live event coverage, and boost/optimize content
- Increase engagement and grow Instagram followers
- Build and grow the Pinterest and TikTok accounts
- Log performance and track metrics
- Conduct selected research and propose creative and strategic ideas aligned with performance insights
- Produce x2 selected reports per month and deliver monthly performance/engagement analytics reports across all channels
- Upload and update website content (projects, news, blog posts) and optimize for SEO
- Conduct keyword integration, link audits, and meta tag updates
- Integrate and use Google Analytics to track traffic and visibility
- Maintain and update CRM database and aid in the creation, scheduling, and delivering of newsletters
- Create/coordinate content between newsletter and social channels and support integration with the website
Key Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in social media content creation/management/optimization, SEO, and digital marketing
- Strong writing, scheduling, and reporting skills
- Comfortable working independently and remotely
- Proficient in Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google Analytics, Photoshop (or similar), basic video editing, and Google Drive
- Based in the UK or EU time zone
