Job Title: Social Media and Website CoordinatorMaternity cover for one yearLocation: NKF Headquarters, Worksop, S81 8BWReporting to: Head of Fundraising and MarketingHours: Up to 36 hoursSalary: Up to 22,000As Social Media and Website Coordinator, you will be responsible for the growth in engagement, updating and daily management of the NKF s social media channels and website, evaluating and reporting on performance to drive engagement and reach new audiences. You will also be the primary point of contact for patients, members, supporters, and stakeholders. You will provide administrative support to the team and be responsible for updating our database, as well as supporting the running of our patient engagement projects, events, and our office.Main duties and responsibilities:Progress the NKF social media strategy and develop plans that drive engagement and revenueAct as the main administrator on all social networking accounts for NKFKeep up-to-date with social media trends and competitor activity, providing monthly reports and recommendations to the Head of MarketingWork with the Communication and Marketing team to develop a quality digital offering across all channels belonging to NKFDevelop engaging, creative and innovative content for social media plans that promote the NKF and drive engagement & revenueAdapt content for different channels concentrating on getting the right tone of voice for the relevant audience and content in the right format for each channelSpot relevant news stories, flag issues and share developments with teams internally.Responsible for planning, strategy and ideas for upcoming awareness days/ weeks/monthsDesign promotional materials for the charityBecome an advocate for NKF in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriateResponsible for the day-to-day running of the website, managing website updates from across the NKF and ensuring continuous improvement and development of content, layout and structureWork with staff to advise on best practices and ensure website content is fresh, up to date and in line with our brand, key messages, style and tone of voice.Produce monthly, annual, campaign and ad hoc analysis and evaluation of the website to provide data-driven insights and recommendationsUse analytics, monitoring/tracking tools and testing strategies to understand more about our how the website is being used, helping to optimise it for conversions and creating an improved supporter experienceProvide a high level of administrative support to all areas of the charityUpdate Blackbaud (database) and filing systemsOrganise mailings to members, supporters, and donorsSupport with office supply management General Responsibilities:Co-operate with all staff in maintaining good relationships with outside agencies and the general public to uphold the NKF s image and win increased support for its workMaintain confidentiality in all areas of workEnsure that your conduct does not conflict with professional expectations.Actively support and promote the NKF strategy and valuesCo-operate with all staff in maintaining harmonious inter-personal relationshipsCarry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, the title of the post and its grading as requested by your Line Manager or the Chief ExecutiveNote: This job description reflects the present requirements of the post.
