We are a new romantic & feminine whimiscal brand called American Heiress.
Traditionally, we’ve worked with fashion photographers focused on editorial, campaign, and e-commerce shoots.
For this role, we’re looking for someone social-first, versatile, and resourceful — someone who can shoot photo + video, edit short-form content, and consistently find beautiful places to create in.
We want someone who naturally notices places that fit our world: vintage restaurants, romantic hotels, cafés, old theaters, gardens, charming streets, historic buildings, and interesting interiors that can become the backdrop for fashion content.
You should be the kind of person who walks past a place and immediately thinks: we should shoot here.
The content won’t always be highly produced. Sometimes it’s a handheld clip in a hotel lobby, a model in a café, street-style moments, getting-ready footage, or quick Reels that feel natural and scroll-stopping.
We want someone who understands how fashion lives on Instagram, TikTok, and organic social — not just in lookbooks.
You should be comfortable:
- Shooting photo + video
- Using lightweight cameras with a social-first aesthetic
- Scouting and proposing shoot locations
- Researching restaurants, hotels, streets, and interiors
- Spotting creative potential in everyday places
- Capturing movement, detail, and candid moments
- Shooting vertically for Reels/TikTok
- Creating multiple pieces of content from one shoot
- Editing short-form video (music, pacing, cuts)
- Working quickly without heavy production setups
- Staying on top of fashion, travel, and social trends
We will provide model and makeup artist (if needed), but looking for someone who can work together long term in UK.
