SOC Analyst

Summary: The SOC Analyst role involves providing hands-on operational support within a Security Operations Center (SOC), focusing on the investigation and management of escalated incidents. The position requires validating the quality and effectiveness of alerts and detections. This role is based in Reading and operates under a hybrid working arrangement. The contract is for a duration of 6 months and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on 2nd line SOC operational support, including investigation and management of escalated incidents from the 1st line SOC
• Validate and assure quality and effectiveness of Sentinel alerts and detections

Salary (Rate): £600 Daily
