Our client is currently seeking the skills of a Senior Project Manager to join their team. Our client develops and delivers life changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth. With their Drug Substance (DS) manufacturing network growing rapidly, they are committed to growing their portfolio of commercial biologics products supplied worldwide – and this is your opportunity to be involved!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- UK/Europe based Senior Project Manager that can take lead for the BD phase of the Drug Substance facility at our Singapore site – this is ~12000m2 of mAbs and Conjugation space.
- Supporting the Basic Design activities of the lab, both the lab design, services and the scoping of the lab equipment within the lab.
- supporting the Basic Design activities of facility, but what is different and important is that we will be following a full modular construction approach – this will require an different approach from us as a client team.
- The candidate should have experience of modular, perhaps not at this scale but with a good appreciation of what it will take to deliver this.
- The candidate will need to do an element of design management and technical leadership, with heavy support from our DM & PTM.
- The role is execution focused rather than been a lab ‘subject matter expert’ the person needs to coordinate and drive the package forward.
Desirable Experience:
- Assists project manager or line manager within project leadership in planning and delivering defined work scope on a project to meet agreed schedule and budget.
- Coordinates with all projects related members on day-to-day progress of work activities to ensure timely completion of a project.
- Acts as a package lead or area lead within a project.
- Prepares regular project reports and presentations for key stakeholders.
- Follows-up closely on actions and mitigation activities in the project risk management plan.
- Organises and conducts effective work sessions (like PDR meetings; etc.).
- Supports the PM in ensuring compliance to the project management process (CPDP) throughout project life cycle.
- Ensures compliance with engineering, safety and work standards and associated procedures, to ensure the assets meet business needs and satisfy external regulators.
- Assist the PM in planning, managing and controlling allocation of resources, to ensure that Customer requirements are met at the optimum cost.
