Summary: The SMB Account Manager at Vonage plays a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving value outcomes for a defined portfolio of clients. This position focuses on customer retention, advocacy, and growth, while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure optimal customer journeys. The role involves managing account strategies, upselling, and maintaining low churn rates within the CCaaS portfolio. The Account Manager will also be responsible for contract renewals and providing accurate sales forecasts to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a portfolio of accounts with low churn, high adoption, and high health scores.
  • Develop strong partnerships with customers and collaborate cross-functionally to guide them through an optimal customer journey.
  • Identify additional business opportunities and upsell into existing accounts.
  • Develop account/territory selling strategies and provide accurate sales forecasts to management.
  • Responsible for all contract renewals and leading commercial negotiations.
  • Identify customer issues and work with internal teams to develop resolution plans.
  • Meet monthly revenue and customer retention goals.
  • Document customer responses and provide feedback to internal teams.
  • Support team efforts to analyze customer base coverage models.
  • Leverage relationships with internal teams to address customer needs.
