  • Forklift driving certificate RTITB is desirable.

Detailed Description From Employer:

Slingers required to start August for up to 6 months in Rosyth. The role involves working with a range of lifting and transport equipment including mobile cranes, Goliath crane, overhead travelling cranes, forklift trucks, SPMT`s and mechanical handling equipment. The post holder will be expected to execute lifting operations in a safe and controlled manner on behalf of the Company in accordance with the Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998 and job specific method statements. The successful candidate will be expected to work the hours required to complete the job, often out-with standard hours. Training will be provided where necessary. Experience is required in slinging/rigging with the use of a range of equipment (plate/bulbar/beam clamps, magnets etc) You will hold a recognised slinger signaller qualification - Minimum NVQ2 or equivalent or recognised rigger/fleeting qualification. Fork lift driving certificate RTITB is desirable. Standard hours 37 per week plus overtime.
