Summary: The role of Site Supervisor involves overseeing utilities projects for Thames Water frameworks with a leading subcontractor in Central London. Candidates with experience in HS2 utilities diversion are particularly encouraged to apply. This position is initially a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension and is compensated through the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and management of temporary shafts and deep excavation utility installations/diversions.
- Supervising large teams on-site.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and required certifications.
- Managing temporary works permits.
Key Skills:
- Experience in utilities supervision, particularly with Thames Water frameworks.
- Previous HS2 utilities diversion experience is highly desirable.
- Confined Space Certification (Medium Risk minimum).
- Knowledge of temporary works permits (TWC/TWS).
