Summary: The Technical Site Engineer (Supervisor) role involves overseeing the installation and management of mechanical and electrical systems in varied industrial environments, particularly within the energy sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and work from complex mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Design and install mechanical, low-voltage electrical, IT, and network equipment.
  • Manage third-party contractors and site-based teams.
  • Ensure high attention to detail and maintain strong documentation.
  • Lead and supervise on-site engineers and third parties.
  • Coordinate installations with multiple on-site stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with site health & safety controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize operational technologies effectively.

Key Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in industrial environments (e.g., substations).
  • Experience in the energy and renewable energy sectors, ideally in Scotland.
  • Relevant technical qualifications in IT, networking, or mechanical/electrical engineering (e.g., HNC/HND, City & Guilds, vendor certifications).
  • IOSH Managing Safely, CSCS, CCNSG, or equivalent certifications.
  • Ability to obtain government security clearance.
  • Full UK Driving License.
