Site Supervisor - Ground-Mount Solar

Location: South Wales

Contract: Up to £340 per day

We are expanding the delivery team on a utility-scale solar project in South Wales and are interested in speaking with experienced Site Supervisors from a strong ground-mounted solar background.

Both permanent and contract opportunities are available.

You will support the Site Manager with the supervision of subcontractors and construction activity, helping maintain progress, quality and safe working practices throughout the build.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising construction teams and subcontractors
• Monitoring work against drawings and specifications
• Carrying out site and quality inspections
• Recording progress and maintaining accurate daily reports
• Monitoring materials and deliveries
• Identifying defects and managing punch-list items
• Supporting site mobilisation and construction planning
• Ensuring site teams follow HSE requirements
• Working closely with Site and Project Management

Essential experience:

• Demonstrable recent utility-scale ground-mounted Solar PV experience
• Strong construction/site supervision background
• Civil, Mechanical or Electrical construction experience
• Strong communication skills and confidence managing subcontractors
• UK driving licence

Qualifications / certifications:

• SSSTSGold CSCS or Gold ECS Card
• First Aid certification
• TWS / Temporary Works Supervisor experience or qualification would be advantageous.
• Candidates with civil solar construction experience are particularly relevant.
