Site Supervisor - Solar Farm Construction
Location: West Kent
Contract: Long-term contract
Rate: Up to £340 per day
We are recruiting an experienced Site Supervisor to support the construction of a large-scale ground-mounted solar project in West Kent.
You will work closely with Site Management and subcontractors to maintain safe working practices, construction quality and progress across the site.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Supervise subcontractors and site activity
- Ensure construction follows drawings and agreed specifications
- Monitor quality and workmanship
- Complete inspections and maintain site records
- Support daily programme delivery
- Monitor materials and site deliveries
- Raise and track defects and outstanding works
- Support safe working practices across the project
- Assist Site Management with reporting and coordination
Essential experience
- Recent utility-scale ground-mounted Solar PV experience
- Strong practical construction experience
- Civil, Electrical or Mechanical construction background
- Good understanding of UK construction HSE requirements
- UK driving licence
Qualifications / certifications
- SSSTS
- Gold CSCS or Gold ECS Card
- First Aid certification
- TWS / Temporary Works Supervisor experience or qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
Additional Information
We are particularly interested in Supervisors who can demonstrate hands-on experience delivering civil packages on large solar farms.
