Site Supervisor

Summary: The Site Supervisor role at NNES Fircroft involves overseeing all activities related to power cabling projects, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The position requires proactive risk management and coordination of subcontractors while reporting to the Project Installation Manager. The supervisor will also assist in planning site work and maintaining project schedules. This contract position is based in Durham.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all activities on cable route, including survey, enabling works, trench and joint bay excavations, cable laying, jointing, and backfilling.
• Identify risks (including HSE) and opportunities and report to Site Manager/Project Installation Manager.
• Conduct proactive work and decide on actions to mitigate identified risks.
• Assist the Site Management team to plan the work on the site to eliminate or minimize safety-related risks.
• Ensure work is performed according to Health & Safety and Environmental plans.
• Follow up the time schedule and report deviations and changes to the PIM.
• Coordinate subcontractors.
• Report to the Project Installation Manager or Senior Site Installation Manager as delegated for specific projects.
• Report status/progress in accordance with project reporting procedures.
• Ensure registration of deviation of Quality and HSE for the installation/service part is carried out throughout the project period.
• Participate in site meetings with clients when necessary and document employee performance feedback to department management.
