Summary: The Site Superintendent role at Bilfinger UK involves managing mechanical and electrical project works on-site, ensuring compliance with construction, quality, and commissioning standards. The position requires frequent collaboration with various teams, including Completions and Quality, to maintain project timelines and documentation. The Superintendent will also act as a health, safety, and environmental (HSE) champion while supporting vendor visits and resource planning. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage M&E project works on-site and report to the Project Management Team.
  • Identify and confirm the status of all subsystems regarding construction, completions, quality, and commissioning.
  • Collate current design documentation to assess and action required updates.
  • Liaise with the Completions team to track the status of each subsystem.
  • Attend planning sessions to review key dates and upcoming scopes.
  • Support vendor site visits, including logistics and access arrangements.
  • Act as an HSE champion for the area/buildings.
  • Participate in progress update meetings with clients, demonstrating system status knowledge.
  • Attend resource requirement meetings to prepare for upcoming scopes.
  • Support meetings to develop action trackers for current issues and actions.
  • Liaise with the Quality team to maintain concurrency of LTQRs for handover preparation.

Key Skills:

  • SMSTS / SSSTS certification and a valid CSCS Card.
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical scopes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Planning knowledge, preferably with P6 Primavera.
  • Management of supply chain and subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with ORIBIT completes software is advantageous.
  • Ability to obtain SC clearance.
