Summary: The Site Engineer role involves working with a regional groundworks contractor specializing in advanced groundworks for large steel frame industrial units. The position is temporary, lasting approximately 5 months, and focuses primarily on site setup, quality assurance, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The engineer will collaborate closely with the project management team to ensure timely and specification-compliant project completion. The role requires significant experience in setting out and quality assurance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site set up and setting out
• Quality Assurance
• Working alongside the project management team
• Ensuring health and safety compliance
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on the site
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification
• 80% Setting Out and 20% QA

Key Skills:

• Experience setting out for piling, foundations, services, and utilities
• Able to use a Total Station - Leica TS16 or GPS
• Autocad knowledge for 3D Modelling
• Experience from a groundwork contractor completing works on a variety of projects
• CSCS Card
