Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all land, buildings, plant and equipment, and track are maintained and renewed to specified frequencies in compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
- Effectively manage the maintenance and upkeep of the plant and machinery at Etches Park Depot.
- Manage site Maintenance Contracts and ensure contractors meet legal and company requirements.
- Control allocated budgets and implement cost reductions where possible.
- Assist the Depot Manager in preparing manpower, staff costs, materials, and overhead budgets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for optimal performance.
- Lead a team of 6 employees.
Key Skills:
- Educated to HND/C in an appropriate engineering qualification desirable.
- Qualified to CDM regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of property, plant, and equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of ISO9001, IOSH/NEBOSH, ISO14001.
- Experience managing Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities for maintenance.
- Understanding of procurement/supply chain.

Can you lead site services teams and budgets to keep fleet facilities safe, compliant, and operationally effective? TXM Recruit are sourcing a Site Services Manager for East Midlands Railway. The role is a 6-month contract paying £200 - £250 per day (equal to £55,000 per annum). The role is located at EMR’s Etches Park depot.
The role is responsible for ensuring fleet depots and outstation sites are fully compliant, safe, and fit for purpose through the timely procurement, maintenance, and renewal of infrastructure, plant, and equipment. This includes managing planned and reactive maintenance, delivering site projects, overseeing contractor performance, and ensuring all legal, statutory, and HSE requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all land, buildings, plant and equipment and track are maintained and renewed to the specified frequency as laid down in Network Rail’s Group and Line Standards, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements, Health & Safety regulations, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures
- Effectively manage the maintenance and upkeep of the plant and machinery utilised at Etches Park Depot.
- Manage site Maintenance Contracts. Ensure contractors on site meet legal and company requirements
- Manage and control allocated budgets and ensure cost reductions where possible.
