Summary: The role of Site QA/QC involves overseeing quality assurance and inspection processes for a leading sub-contractor in the Energy from Waste sector. The position is site-based in West Midlands and requires immediate availability for a minimum contract of two months. Key responsibilities include managing quality inspections, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and producing detailed reports on quality and construction progress. Candidates must have relevant experience in cladding, roofing, or façade remediation, along with necessary certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct, manage and plan quality inspections.
- Champion quality assurance and inspection processes, producing clear and accurate reports covering quality approval, construction progress, non-conformances, defect resolution, and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with the site construction team, clients site-based quality and construction teams to ensure inspections, approvals, and documentation are fully compliant with project based and statutory requirements.
- Support, monitor and promote compliance with the company's and project requirements.
- Track Snags/ Damages to show close out applying a golden thread approach.
- Investigate quality non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Support the continuous development of quality practices and initiatives with regards to performance improvements.
Key Skills:
- Experience in external & internal cladding, roofing and/or façade remediation.
- Must hold a CSCS or CCNSG card.
- Experience with client interactions and communication on site.

Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading sub-contractor in the Energy from Waste sector to recruit a QA QC on 2 months minimum contract for its site in West Midlands with an immediate start.
The Site based QA QC role comes with a day rate of between £300 - £400.
Key skills
