Summary: The Site Project Coordinator will oversee the execution of brownfield upgrade and maintenance projects within a major energy portfolio, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery. This role involves coordinating between various stakeholders, including remote project managers and contractors, while focusing on constructability reviews and project milestones. The position is based on-site in Tamworth, Staffordshire, and offers a long-term rolling contract with a competitive daily rate. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project coordination within the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate execution of a wide range of brownfield upgrade and maintenance projects across terminal infrastructure
- Oversee contractor readiness, interactive planning sessions, and inspection/testing alignment
- Conduct site-based constructability reviews and support remote PMs through FEL and define phases
- Monitor and report on schedule, budget, scope changes, HSSE performance and QA/QC milestones
- Review and manage permit strategies and ensure alignment with client Ops team
- Coordinate pre-commissioning, handover, and punch list closure
- Maintain strong communication with all project stakeholders to minimise risk and enhance delivery certainty
- Act as a technical interface for issue resolution, risk mitigation, and resource planning
- Support project closeout activities including documentation, performance testing, and MOC closure
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in brownfield project coordination or execution, ideally within oil, gas, energy, or industrial environments
- Strong site knowledge and ability to navigate live terminal constraints with safety and efficiency
- Confident communicator able to manage stakeholders across contractors, consultants, and client teams
- Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a clear understanding of engineering deliverables, contractor workflows, and construction processes
- Experience in constructability planning, permit strategy, QA/QC, and close-out
- Strong working knowledge of project lifecycles from FEL to commissioning
