About the Role of Site Supervisor

As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee the delivery of ongoing airside construction and maintenance works across Stansted Airport.

Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and airport stakeholders, you will ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements within a highly regulated operational environment.

Responsibilities for Site Supervisor

  • Coordinate and supervise day-to-day site activities across multiple work areas.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely and to programme.
  • Maintain strong communication with project management teams and airport representatives.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and quality standards are met within the live airside environment.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular updates on project delivery.
  • Assist with planning works to minimise disruption to airport operations.

Requirements for Site Supervisor

  • Valid SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
  • Previous experience supervising construction works within operational environments.
  • Valid Airside Pass (essential).
  • Strong understanding of health & safety procedures and site management.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and workstreams simultaneously.
