Rate: £275 – £300 per day

Project Overview

A large-scale infrastructure programme focused on the upgrade and modernisation of accommodation across a national estate, alongside the delivery of new-build supporting facilities.

The scheme is being rolled out across multiple sites using a programmatic approach, with a strong emphasis on Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), standardised design, and efficient delivery to drive quality, speed, and consistency.

Role Overview

As a Freelance Site Manager (No.2 on Site), you will support the Senior Site Manager / Project Lead in the day-to-day running of the Catterick site.

You will play a key role in coordinating site operations, managing subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on role suited to someone looking to step up or further develop under strong leadership on a major scheme.

Requirements

Experience in a Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager role on construction or infrastructure projects

Background delivering residential, accommodation, or similar schemes

Exposure to MMC / modular construction (desirable)

SC Clearance (advantageous)

Valid SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold Card), and First Aid

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-phase environment
