Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a live new build housing development in Burneside, Kendal.
Your new role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a live housing development, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards of quality.
Key duties will include:
- Managing all site operations from groundwork through to handover
- Coordinating subcontractors and site labour
- Ensuring health & safety compliance across the development
- Monitoring programme and maintaining build schedules
- Conducting quality inspections and managing snagging processes
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal project teams
- Producing site reports and attending progress meetings
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience managing new build housing developments
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates
- Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and housebuilding processes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage programme, quality and health & safety simultaneously
- Full UK driving licence
