Summary: The role of Site Manager involves overseeing the daily operations of a 40MW+ ground-mounted solar farm project in Tiverton, Devon. The successful candidate will manage subcontractors across various disciplines while ensuring adherence to health, safety, and quality standards. Experience in solar farm projects is preferred, but strong backgrounds in civil or electrical infrastructure will also be considered. This position is site-based with a contract duration of 12 months, likely extending to 15-18 months, and operates outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily site operations for a solar farm project.
- Drive programme delivery and ensure project timelines are met.
- Oversee multi-disciplinary civil, mechanical, and electrical subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards onsite.
- Work on-site for 10-hour days, Monday to Friday, with optional Saturday hours.

A UK full-service renewable energy provider is seeking an experienced Site Manager to deliver a 40MW+ ground-mounted solar farm project in Tiverton, Devon. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for daily site operations, driving programme delivery, managing multi-disciplinary civil, mechanical and electrical subcontractors, and ensuring high HSE and quality standards onsite. Solar farm experience is preferable; however, candidates with strong civil, electrical infrastructure or general construction backgrounds will also be considered. This is a site-based role working 10-hour days, Monday to Friday, with the site also open on Saturdays (8am-1pm), with a full day paid. This is for 12-month initial contract, likely to run for 15-18 months, operating outside IR35.
