Summary: The Site Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a major e-commerce distribution centre remodel in the North West, acting as the primary point of contact on site. This role involves coordinating subcontractors and site teams, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining communication with clients and stakeholders. The position is critical for the successful delivery of a multi-million-pound project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale industrial projects and refurbishment in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full site responsibility for the day-to-day running and successful delivery of the project
- Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and logistics to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor health & safety, quality, and programme targets
- Liaise with the client, consultants, and wider project stakeholders
- Report regularly on progress, issues, and site conditions
Key Skills:
- Proven experience operating as No.1 Site Manager on large-scale industrial or logistics projects
- Strong background in refurbishment/remodelling within live or complex environments
- SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS (Black or White card)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills

As we embark on the North West leg of a major project for one of the UK's leading e-commerce businesses, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to take the lead as No.1 on site. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver a multi-million-pound remodel of a key distribution centre, playing a crucial role in the delivery for our Client.
