RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing subcontractors and manage daily site activities
- Oversee ground-mounted solar PV installation works
- Ensure HSQE and CDM requirements are met
- Deliver toolbox talks and monitor site safety
- Report daily and weekly progress to the Project Manager
- Identify and report risks, delays and issues
- Monitor workmanship and installation quality
- Support snagging, quality checks and project completion
- Act as the main on-site contact for subcontractors and suppliers
SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years' site supervision/management experience
- Ground-mounted solar farm experience - essential
- Experience on large-scale solar PV or renewable energy projects
- Strong subcontractor management experience
- Good understanding of HSQE and UK construction regulations
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability
CERTIFICATIONS
- SMSTS - Essential
- First Aid - Essential
- IOSH / NEBOSH - desirable
DESIRABLE
- Experience working on large-scale renewable energy projects
- Strong site quality and snagging experience
