Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site activities and ensure works are completed safely and to programme
- Coordinate subcontractors and manage site teams
- Oversee construction and M&E works
- Monitor quality, progress and health & safety
- Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks and regular site inspections
- Liaise with the Principal Contractor, client and project team
- Manage deliveries, materials and site logistics
- Ensure all site documentation and records are kept up to date
- Identify and resolve site issues promptly
- Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and project requirements
Requirements
- SMSTS - essential
- Asbestos Awareness
- Working at Heights
- Basic DBS required, or must be able to pass a Basic DBS check
- Mechanical qualification/time-served mechanical background preferred
- Previous experience working for a Principal Contractor highly desirable
- NHS/healthcare refurbishment experience advantageous
- Air Source Heat Pump installation experience highly desirable
- Strong general construction and M&E knowledge
