The Role
- Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractors
- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
- Maintain high standards of health & safety
- Coordinate trades and manage site logistics
- Liaise with the project team and relevant stakeholders
- Ensure site records, RAMS and permits are maintained
- Drive quality and ensure works are completed to the required standard
- Maintain a professional approach when working within a busy public-facing environment
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager on commercial, retail or refurbishment projects
- SMSTS - essential
- First Aid - essential
- Strong understanding of site health & safety
- Confident managing subcontractors and site teams
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Able to work independently and take responsibility for the site
A key part of the role
The project operates a strict site safety system, including a yellow/red card process. Candidates must have a strong safety record and take site rules and procedures seriously.
