Summary: The role of Freelance Site Manager involves overseeing an education refurbishment project in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing refurbishment projects, particularly in educational settings, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades.
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.
  • Liaise with the client, design team, and Contracts Manager.
  • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings.
  • Monitor progress, resolve site issues, and keep accurate site records.
  • Manage deliveries, logistics, and programme compliance.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience managing education refurbishment projects.
  • Experience overseeing structural steelwork.
  • Valid SMSTS.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Valid First Aid at Work certificate.
  • Valid Fire Marshal certificate.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last 2 years.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Strong understanding of current health & safety legislation.

Freelance Site Manager - Education Refurbishment Project - Liverpool

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee an education refurbishment project in Liverpool.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised Site Manager with a proven track record of delivering refurbishment projects safely, on programme, and to a high standard, ideally within live educational environments.

Contract Details

  • Location: Liverpool
  • Start Date: 13th July
  • Duration: Until October
  • Working Hours: Day shifts, Monday to Friday
  • Contract Type: Freelance
