Summary: My client, a national civil engineering contractor, is seeking a site manager to oversee and deliver a project for a valued client in Norfolk. The role involves day-to-day site management and collaboration with the project manager, ensuring effective communication with clients and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have a background in civil engineering or construction management and relevant site management experience. This position is critical for maintaining health and safety standards and managing subcontractors effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day site management.
- Working alongside and reporting to the project manager.
- Detailed record keeping.
- Reviewing ITPs.
- Liaising with the client, subcontractors and key stake-holders.
- Managing subcontractors.
- Managing health and safety.
- Reviewing RAMS.
Key Skills:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Degree in civil engineering or construction management.
- CSCS card - Gold or Black.
- SMSTS.
- First aid.
- TWC/TWS.
- Previous experience in a site managers role.
- Previous experience within heavy civils.
- IT literate.
- Full UK driving licence.
