My client is an established London-based construction contractor who requires an experienced Site Manager to manage a small commercial refurbishment project in London.

The Role

Reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project from start through to completion, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required standard.

The programme has already been produced, and you will be responsible for monitoring progress and making minor adjustments where required to keep the project on track.

The project involves the refurbishment of an existing commercial / industrial building, including the creation of four new offices, internal partitions and associated adaptation works.

  • Make minor programme adjustments where required to maintain progress
  • Organisation and coordination of subcontractors, materials and deliveries
  • Ensure works remain on programme and are completed to the required quality standards
  • Ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety Management Plan
  • Keeping accurate site records including subcontractor attendance and progress
  • Liaising with the visiting Contracts Manager regarding progress, programme and any issues arising on site
  • Ensure the project is completed safely, on time and to the required standard
